Julie Ditton (storybooklady) | 234 comments I put almost all the Patterson books on my TBR shelf. I went searching for a cover image and discovered that this I can't find any trace of this book anywhere except on Amazon. Even there it is only shows up under some of the asins as no longer available. google search also shows a hit at Google books, but a search for that ISBN turns up nothing. The ISBN doesn't show up on any other website including worldcat, LCC or even ISBN search sites.
It doesn't show up on kndle either.

Here is the big problem:
The book is not listed on Patterson's author website nor on Hatchett Books/ Bookshots publisher website.
If it was just out of print it would still show up on Patterson's checklist.

Do we leave this as is, mark it invaled, deleted, or add some kind of library note in the description?

BookShots was a failed publishing venture by Patterson. The book may have existed for only a short time. It may be everyone just wants to pretend it never happened.

BookShots was kind of here today and gone tonight, not even waiting for tomorrow. I saw more used than new.

Liralen | 8218 comments Judging by the change log, this particular BookShot—or at least most of the editions—might not have made it to publication. That said, I can't confirm that, so the most I would do is add a note to the tune of This book was part of Patterson's BookShots line and is no longer available.

That's probably best since pre-release copies could have been distributed.

Ian | 1 comments It could have been a planned novella from JP's Bookshots imprint/venture, but was canceled. I remember back in 2017, he was going to write a novella about Steven King and a stalker fan, but that title (It was called something around the line of "the fall of Steven King") was canceled because...well, something like that ACTUALLY happened to King.

Could be something in that ballpark
