Can anyone make heads or tails of the change log for this edition?

It's a work with only 4 or so shelvings, so it is quite easy to get an odd edition as the most popular edition. And some people just shelve the first edition they see, even if it is a different language or such (Or a book about a book and not the 'real' book itself) which can help the odd edition keeping its popular status. Or it was indeed the merge of that other edition that made this one the most popular edition. It was a bot not the staff who did the merge, which means that it could have an incorrect merge, but we can't now for sure.
With blank editions, the two options are merging or adding details to turn it into a valid edition that was not yet listed if you happens to know such an edition.

It's completely empty, but it's also the most popular edition, which doesn't make that much sense. The last edit was a Staff merge—was the wrong edition deleted? Is there anything to be done about this empty record other than to merge it too?
