Taste of Darkness by Katie Reus
Taste of Darkness (Darkness, #2) by Katie Reus

Rating: 4 Stars Loved this edition to the series. Drake is a big sexy dragon and he and Victoria make a great couple. I also loved seeing all the characters from the first book and meeting new potential love interests for future books. I love this series and I am excited to read more about any of the shapeshifters Katie Reus wants to write about in this world. Bring them on!!

Stella ╰☆╮╰☆╮ (stellamatta) don't worry Jamie :D

Snowtulip This week has been crazy!!!

I ended up changing my book:

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda -Standalone
Read: 5/12
4 stars

This was such an adorably sweet young adult story. Simon just melts your heart and I loved seeing him and his friends and how he handles his changing friendships. I think I needed a book that really showed friends and how to grow into yourself.

Stella ╰☆╮╰☆╮ (stellamatta) week 8 STANDALONE All Wrapped Up by Elizabeth Hyder

rating 3.5

finished 05/14

I can't give this anthology more than 3.5 stars. It was interesting but in my opinion the stories could have been developed better. the best part? the tentacles sex! It was really hot LOL

Ground Mission by Laylah Hunter 3,5 stars Cute, sexy and well built short. interesting setting and loveable MCs.

Wildwood by Thea Hayworth 3,75 Maybe this is my favorite one. It was sweet and complete. there is a plot, a great setting, a well defined second characters cast and love between the MCs

Dark covenant by Gryvon 3.5 stars It was too dark to me. I enjoyed the world building a lot but the abuses to Eli were too much to take.

Situation Normal by Morgan Harcourt 3.25 stars I rated this one just for the sex scenes, cause I have nothing else to say about the non existent plot.

Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth
**** 4 stars

I just finished this book and wow. Allegiant is the third book in the Divergent series. It ended the series differently than I had imagined. It is a tough, raw series and this book was hard to read. It is not a happy, sweet series but it is worth reading.

Pat Week 8 Beautiful Covers, Finished 5/13 The 5th Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey
**** 4 Stars
The Fifth Wave is the story of a post-apocalyptic earth. Alien invaders are taking over! The story revolves around several young people, struggling to survive, and afraid to trust anyone. The first wave was the loss of all power, followed by several other waves...what will be the fifth wave?

Good character development, and story line. Original and entertaining, I will probably read the second in this series meant for young adults.

Snowtulip Week 9: Truth & Tenderness
Read: 5/16
4 stars

The first book in this series is one of the very first m/m romance books I read; so I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to this series. I absolutely love how much Matt and Evan have grown, and I also love Jim and Griffith. I'll miss these characters with the end of the series, but am happy with the sendoff.

WEEK 9
ON SPOT 64
Series: Tracers #4
Read: 05/16/15
Rating: 4 stars

SYNOPSIS

SOPHIE BARRETT THINKS SHE’S LUCKY TO BE ALIVE. SHE MAY BE DEAD WRONG.

On a sweltering summer afternoon, Sophie Barrett walks into a nightmare. A sniper has opened fire on a college campus. When the carnage is over, three people—plus the shooter—are dead and dozens more are injured. Sophie escapes virtually unscathed. Yet as details emerge from the investigation, she becomes convinced that this wasn’t the random, senseless act it appeared to be. No one wants to believe her—not the cops, not her colleagues at the Delphi Center crime lab, and definitely not Jonah Macon, the homicide detective who’s already saved her life once.

Jonah has all kinds of reasons for hoping Sophie is mistaken. Involving himself with a key witness could derail an already messy investigation, not to mention jeopardize his career. But Sophie is as determined and fearless as she is sexy. If he can’t resist her, he can at least swear to protect her. Because if Sophie is right, she’s made herself the target of a killer without a conscience. And the real terror is only just beginning. . . .

This series rocks!! Snapped is action packed, fast paced and the romance between Sophie and Jonah is electric, and hot...hot...hot. I am so glad I found this series, any fan of the suspense/romance genre needs to start this series, I highly recommend it.

The air outside was damp, the skies gray and threatening. He walked over to the Jardins du Luxembourg and opened the iron gate at the entrance, then paused by the fountain to stretch and tighten the laces on his running shoes before taking off down the gravel walkway deeper into the park. 110/454

Can't believe I didn't start this series before. Blue Notes was a great book, sweet and romantic. I have t catch up on the other stories soon.
