R5: SS Series-ly Addicted (8)
Whoever sees the chance to roll go ahead and do it once she posts her review as I have work tomorrow and I'm not sure when I'll be able to check in
Snowtulip wrote: "Good morning!Looks like I'll be peeking in every few minutes ;) I can't help myself!"
LOL
We have the free pass to use, but I was thinking we could wait for julee. What do you think???
I agree, we should wait, RL might have gotten in the way and we still have plenty of time to read this week.
Me too, I started No Place Left to Run last night because I'm on a musician kick, I'm hoping it turns out good :)

I'm reading Thirty Things. No drama no angst, it's a joy to read, just what I need today

Sometimes you need those sweet books :)
I am so sorry. I thought I had until this afternoon. :(Week 2 - Standalone
Finished 4/2 - 3 stars
I am not great at writing reviews and I am not a literary critic. I have been reading and putting The Little Book down for over a year. It was probably a mistake to try to do it for this challenge. I did finish it but it was a struggle. I couldn't even tell you why. It just didn't engage me the way I had hoped.
Week 3 rollChrrently on: spot 13
New roll: 6+3=9
Now on: spot 22
Can read: 2nd in a series, 22nd in a series, or cover item hat
Julee, did you read it in it's entirety last week? Books can't be started until after the roll. If you picked it back up and started over then you're all good :)
Yay! I am going to read
I loved the first one in this series, and am looking forward to picking this up. I started Pride and Prejudice yesterday but should be done with it tomorrow to get started! Great work all!

Week 3 - 2nd in a Series - Hawk (Sons of Sangue #2) by Patricia A. Rasey
Read 4/4/15 - 4 Stars
You can't get much hotter than a Vampire and Biker all rolled up in one sexy bad a$$ package. Hawk is about as sexy as they come and Suzi was a great match for him. Another great story in a series that I am really enjoying. Patricia writes great action packed sexy-as-sin romances and I really can't wait to read more from her.
Week 3: The Rosie EffectRating: 4 stars
Read: 4/5/15
Don continues to put himself in situations that make me laugh and provide a different perspective on life. Seeing is research to assist with fatherhood was fun and heartwarming. I wish Rosie had been a bigger part of the story though.

I started it yesterday and it's cracking me up!!
week 3
cover item hatrating 3.5 round up to 4 stars
finished 04/05/15
I'm really loving this series. this second book was well done and addictive as the first one, I missed the strong chemistry between MCs, but Jimmy's journey was really beautiful. most of all their story felt real. can't wait for the next one!
Here's mine :)
**** Finished 4/7/15 Second in a SeriesI am really enjoying this series! It is a YA paranormal book with all the trappings...werewolves, vampires, angels, demons, etc.. Charys and Jace are shadow hunters - those that break the laws of the Clave that threaten human existence. They are very much in love, and unfortunately have many obstacles in their way (will not say too much here). Valentine is the big bad guy in this book. He wants to bring down the Clave and won't let anything or anyone stand in his way.
The book is filled with many current parallels - bigotry between races, male and female stereotypes, that are relevant today. A good read with good character development. I will definitely continue with the series.

I need to finish this series, I read through book 3, but have the rest to go. I agree on the character development :)
Stay away from the Mortal Instruments movie though!

Week 3
**** 4 Stars
Finished - 4/8 - Second in a Series
It has been awhile since I read the first one but I really enjoyed this installment of the Beautiful Creatures series. On the surface, Ethan and Lena are dealing with the problems of normal high school students, forbidden love, choices between light and dark, and meddling family and friends. But when you add in Casters, Keepers, a Wayward and blood sucking Incubuses things get complicated in this small southern town.
