I must admit that Cyberpunk isn't one I read on a regular basis though the few I've read, I loved. This one I struggled with a bit as for some reason, I keep trying to pinpoint exactly which point of history it's taken off from though that's really pointless because the point is that it's futuristic.

Lin Thi Vu is an angry protagonist and a very lost one. She's always felt like an outsider and so, kept to herself. I always find it hard to read an angry protagonist so this was another struggle for me though I loved it when she kicks some butts! It was a bit of a slow start but around midway, it became quite action packed though I find sequences kinda short (too fast?) and the ending, not truly satisfying for me. Overall, I enjoyed the read especially when it comes to food*.

"There are two kinds of exiles, Lin. Those who insist on the illusions of the new country, and those who obsess over what was left behind."
