idk what the name challenge is, but ive read quite a few books with the names you mentioned:
in "dora: a headcase" the main character's alter ego is named dora and its so good. in "100 years of solitude" fernanda is a pretty significant character but this book was meh (imo everyone else loves it). ive acc read 2 books with the name pilar: one was an ernest hemmingway novel that i cant remember the name of and the alchemist by paulo coelho. selma blair (the actress from legally blonde) has a memoir so technically the main character is named selma. and im reading a book rn called the shadow of the wind where a side character named fermin goes by york.

Haha, how do you remember that? I've read those books several times and don't remember Kenneth.

@Ashley, the only character I remember with one of these names is York (the Duke of York), who was a character in the Shakespeare play Richard II.

New kid, which is a graphic novel, has a character named Ramon
