I read this book series probably around 7 or 8 years ago. I can’t remember the author, the title, or anything about the year it was published. I remember it was a romance series where the girl has these callings that she has to do that are good deeds. Basically each time she completes one of these callings part of her skin becomes gold, and as more of her becomes gold the people she loves forget her more and more. I remember she meets with this doctor guy who tells her she’s this special race of people who are basically angels sent to the world to make it a better place. Anyways she and this guy are really in love and he slowly forgets her as she completes her callings and dies. Then she is reborn in the next book as a different person and falls in love with a different guy, completes her callings and dies again. Then in the third book she finds the guy from the first book again (which I’m pretty sure was the doctor from the first book) and it’s this whole I will love you in every life type of thing. There’s this evil darkness guy but she’s special because no one else of her kind has ever been reborn. She finally remembers her past lives and destroys the evil and lives as three people as one. That’s about as much as I can remember and some of it might not be the most detailed but I hope someone can find this because I’ve been looking for it for a really long time!
