This fits adventure, but I read it in June before we even voted.

3.3 BUT I am rounding up to 4 stars because it really has everything a thriller needs; I didn't like this as much as I normally like Harris. This isn't a reflection on her writing, but more personal taste and I did go on to read the other two. (I'm woefully behind in writing reviews and have at least 9 books in my to-be-reviewed pile, mostly books I read in June.)

The book blurb gives you all of the story you really need to know before your read this, because of course not knowing what's going to happen is always better in a thriller. This is a Christian thriller so you have a rough idea of how it will end but with none of the details. From right near the start to just about the very finish this book is nonstop moving and action. This is a trilogy featuring the same pair of Marshalls who are attracted to each other, so don't expect a full developed romantic sub-plot, just the start of one; that spans all three of them.

Since it's Christian, you won't find sex scenes, graphic violence (there is some violence, of course, since it's a thriller) or swearing.
