Good luck girls!
sorry ladies, that free pass jacked y'all up!
Grace,
I hope your kid feels better. Stomach bugs suck.

I'm gonna need to rethink my wording for it next round. We ran into a similar situation last round I think, were a team needed to use the pass and could in order to try to roll past 100.

I think this is one of those judge a book by its cover moments. This has a bright attractive cover but inside has no substance, I din't like the writing style, random French phrases and then the translation is just annoying. The plot was mediocre at best. I find it impossible to believe a French detective would let a couple of civilians come on an interview with him.
This was my 8 year old would say "Pants !" Two stars are for the recipes at the end which sound really good :)

It was early morning here when Grace rolled.
It's been on my TBR forever....

Helen Keller....one of my heroine's, the things this lady accomplished in her life. She did not let anything stop her. And her sidekick Anne Sullivan, the miracle worker, another amazing woman.
The book was well referenced, there's an author's note, photographs of the characters and locations, books for further reading, and websites and videos to visit for further info, a timeline, and even a list of sources. A very amazing read for me, I loved it!

Shelby glad it worked out. I am another one who thought we couldn't use the free pass otherwise I would have used it straight away this morning.

Sorry Ezi just noticed this, Thanks. he is a bit better but since he is reusing chocolate, he isn't over it yet. Awful timing as he is meant to go to Cub Camp tomorrow and it is their school fair.

Review:
So this is 3 short stories from the first days of the zombie outbreak. I wish I'd of read it closer to finishing the series. It took me a minute to remember who was who. Still good and I really liked Eric's POV the best. My favorite zombie books are the early days of the ZA.
Lydia's story:
This one is the selling point of the book since Lydia is such a presence throughout the series. It was just way too short. I kinda felt cheated lol.
Monica's story:
I'd forgotten what a tough cookie Monica is. She wasn't afraid to take care of business lol…especially in this one!
Eric's story:
This one was my favorite and it was the longest. Poor guy finds out his "I'm about to propose to you" significant other is cheating on him and has the ZA break out all in one day. Eric had more sense than anyone else he was around at the B&B. Especially his spoiled girlfriend. We also get a tie in to the fort where Jenny & Katie are.

I'm a sucker for mythology what can I say. I really enjoyed the world created here and I liked Gwen's voice a lot. She's been through so much leading up to her mother's death, all those changes, but she's still spunky. Thrown into a crazy school like that and with no frame of reference would be tough.
I loved how she still wanted to find out what happened, that things just didn't seem right to her. She's definitely the most "human" of the group as the others are too used to the paranormal crazy in their ongoing war.
But I literally have to run now or I'm going to be late but I was cramming to finish as I won't have any more time today. :D Really fun story and I'll probably look for the next.

This is the first time I've won one I hosted lol!
We stayed it good job everyone!!!!!!

Shelby, this is the third time I have been on a team with you and the third time we have won, I think you are good luck :)

Nay Nay first time?!"
First Time and believe me I have participated in a lot of team challenges.....so this is a real WOOHOO moment for me.
