The first book is top-tier, absolutely loved it. As for the rest of the series though, it basically slowly declines so I just suggest reading the first book as a stand-alone to save time. But if you want a conclusion, then go ahead and read the whole series.

the first book was an instant 5 star read for me, not sure about the rest of them though; i'm already pretty unsettled cause the character i was pining for from the start turned out to be a total snake, i don't like the idea of another character replacing him or smthn.

Liked the first book glass sword was ok by the end but I ended up DNFing kings cage. I would recommend just reading the first book.
