I started today and read a bit ahead of the schedule - through Part 2 Ch 6 or about 28%. (view spoiler)
I’m on Part 3 Ch 8 (view spoiler)Ngl, I’ve been skimming a lot of the chapters set in the past timeline. I just find the present timeline much more interesting.
Started this one today, only up to Ch. 2(?) as of right now. @Helen, I agree it seems suuuuper slow so far.
I'm liking the general vibe of the book, though it strikes as very melancholy and I'm not sure how I feel about that yet lol. Regardless, excited to see what the future of the book holds.

I've read the first 50 pages and I don't really mind how slow it will be because Schwab writes so beautifully, I love it. I knew beforehand that this book will crsuh my heart (that's why I didn't pick it up earlier haha) so maybe I still don't see that nostalgia you say.
I've got to part 2, and Henry's POVs have started. But I was enjoying Addie's so much I want to jump ahead! Though he's like of my character: a cute librarian with 2 friends. Oh, and I love the book shop's cat, even if I just saw him one time! <3How are you doing, buddies? ^^
Sorry Bopeep, I feel like I haven't been the best buddy these last couple of months because of this slump I'm going through :/
I've put this one down for now. I'm trying not to force myself through books that don't immediately capture my attention because I don't want to make my slump worse lol.

Sorry you're still in the slump! That sucks. Not forcing anything is probably a good strategy, though.
All good, it happens! With my luck, watch my reading mojo come back once the team challenges are over 😅 So glad you are all very understanding though!
Don't worry Edith! I think you have that bollocking because you wanted to read too many books, and let's face it, we are kind of slow readers haha. I'm not sure I will finish it this month (I'll try to because I love it), but I have other books to BR. I feel kind of stressed too hahaha ^^'Also @Sarah and @Nelson,have you started the book or planning to? Any comments so far?
The book destroyed me, as I knew it would. I usually cry at the ending of books but I sobbed sooo hard this time. I had to go hug my gf and she immediately started searching for fluffy books I can read next lol

The ending really was striking... though because I was lowkey rooting for the demon I was all for it hahaha
Hope you find a nice fluffy read to cheer you up!!
