Emmeline Duncan (emmelineduncan) | 10 comments Hi. I'm the author of Death Unfiltered, and this is my author profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Death Unfiltered is linked to the wrong author account (someone who passed away over a century ago).

I also noticed the Lib/E edition of one of my other books (Double Shot Death) is also accidentally linked to this author:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

This is the fourth time my books have been linked to the wrong author when uploaded to Goodreads. If anyone has suggestions on how to keep this from happening in the future, I'd appreciate it.

You have to add the books properly with ISBN and ASIN numbers depending on the edition because the bot uses this as identifiers. If you don't add these properly the bot will create the records properly thus duplicates are created. I think it's easier that you keep an eye on that profile and make a request here from time to time and a librarian will move the books. It's really no problem.

Thank you for your help! And I'm glad to know asking for my titles to be moved isn't a big deal, request-wise, as I don't usually have the ISBN and ASIN info until my publisher adds my books to the various database that Goodreads, bookstores, etc, use.

Thanks again!
