How do you organize your books?

I’m wondering how y’all organize your books so I can get some ideas for my bookshelf

i organize by if it’s a series or a trilogy, put them all together and the rest i color code them all

I usually organize them by series. And the different shelves are different genres (like one shelf is fantasy, one shelf is romance, etc.)

in mine series stay together and i usually put the series with the similar thicknesses and colors side by side
