Is a title that didn't exist then? A format that you didn't know about?

What would you have devoured?!

Hilary Margitich (wwwhilarymargitichcom) | 9 comments I think I would have really loved novels in verse. There didn’t seem to be any when I was a kid.

Me, too! It might have taken me a minute to really "get" them, but once I did, I think I would want every one I could get my hands on.

If Elizabeth Acevedo had been writing when I was a young adult ... I would have eaten up her works. Also I didn't discover graphic novels until an adult and I wish I had taken the time to read them as a child and teen.

I feel like there are so many amazing authors that I "missed" the opportunity to read when I was in thier "target audience." What I love most, though, is that as an adult I find them so engaging. Sometimes nostalgic, sometimes enchanting, somtimes just SOOOO GOOD!
