I want to share a personal project I've been working on for several years at https://novelty-insights.com/ . I'm a data scientist with a passion for data visualization, and I started thinking more critically about how I was spending my time absorbing media, especially reading more books. I wanted to get a sense of my bias and what I read and didn't read. As a result, I've created a site where anyone can upload their Goodreads library export and discover graphs about how their reading history breaks down in terms of author gender, fiction/non-fiction, genres and even countries of origin. It's completely free and I just want to see more people use it!
