Bruno Lowagie | 16 comments I bought a copy of this book in a second-hand bookstore: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
It seems that this book was added without the name of the author.

I looked inside my copy and discovered the original title of the book: "Press Send"; using this title, I found this book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

The description of the book is similar to the one of the book I own, so I think it can be merged. However, if you look at the name of the author of "Press Send" on Goodreads, you'll notice that it doesn't match with the name of the author on the screen shots of the different editions of the book. Every cover mentions the name "John McLaren" (including the cover of the copy I own) whereas Goodreads claims the author is "Jack McLaren".

Summarized:
1. The first name of the author of "Please Send" is John, not Jack.
2. The book with ISBN number 9789027463241 is the Dutch translation of the book with ISBN number 9780684819198.

Arenda | 26447 comments The Dutch translation (In memoriam) is now combined with the other editions under the name John McLaren, which is the author name on the covers: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

This John McLaren now has his own profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
(I'm still working on other titles by this author.)

Arenda | 26447 comments There is a Jack McLaren who was born John McLaren: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

I suspect this could be the explanation for the incorrect author name on Press Send, assuming someone incorrectly changed a complete author profile from John to Jack, instead of moving books manually.

Bruno Lowagie | 16 comments Thank you for sorting this out!

When Googling for the book, I noticed that there are many people named Jack or John McLaren. It's not always easy to know who's who.
