Transfiguration Courtyard

This is one of the cloisters in the inner part of Hogwarts Castle. This courtyard has grass in the open area, in which a big tree had grown over the centuries. There is also a massive iron armillary sphere that standing in the center of the courtyard.

Adria was sitting on a bendh working on her Transfiguration homework that she barely got today and she never really got why she was so bad at it. Everyone in her family had a successful time when they went here.

Paris walked around the center sphere and across the yard to sit on a bench opposite of Adria. He recognized her and knew her name, but he wasn't one for getting to everyone. Adria was attractive enough and while Paris would gladly date her he was more of the hard to get type. He wanted someone who would catch his attention fully not by appearance, but by presence. Paris needed someone to stimulate his senses. While he was rather independent he liked it when the other one takes charge of a situation. Its probably his kink, but he doesn't delve to much into his own character to really know himself.

Adria was just minding when she saw Paris sitting next to her, she saw him around and she didn't even flinch, she was used to others sitting next was just pity and she hates that, she turned to Paris.. "Why are you taking pity on me?" she asked him quite quickly.

Paris looked up from his book at Adria a bit confused by the start of the conversation, but he was willing to entertain the idea regardless. "Oh...I mean if sitting on a bench to do homework is an indication of pity I would sincerely apologize were my dorm not so far too crowded to get any studying done." He turned back to his homework and breathed out heavily. "If it's pity you want I can always demand some attention from my chivalrous act." He abruptly slammed his book closed and proceeded to pick up his bag and moved very quickly to sit directly beside Adria. He then leaned back and placed an arm behind her resting on the back of the bench. "Is that more of what you had in mind?" He rolled his eyes at her and stared out into ancourtyard of maybe no more than nine students scattered about. "We aren't going to draw too much attention from a crowd like this, maybe you should kiss me so it looks like I am being extra pityful." He snorted slightly when he laughed at his own sarcastic joke.

Adria didn't want to smile, yet she did. "She was never one for laughs. But, this guy fits everything a girl dreams of. A sarcastic guy who also has humor to break the fall. "It would actually be you kissing me not the other way around, then it would be pity. It would be me kissing a crush" right after she said that her whole face was a tomato.

Paris appeared taken back slightly by her comment. He knew he was attractive, but he jever imagined he was attractive enough to get someone to admit they had a crush on him. As her face flushed he leaned in and kissed her deeply if for only about four seconds while gently cupping her cheek with his hand. Paris puller away noticing her blush and smiled brightly, "Was that enough pity for you?" He spoke softly as if he was trying to be alluring and seductive. Then a second year boy from Ravenclaw came by gawking, "Ewww you two were snogging, that's against school rules." Paris raised an eyebrow and grew a menacing smirk, "If you tell on us it will be your fault Ravenclaw doesn't win the House Cup at end of term." He spoke flashing his Ravenclaw badge on his robes. The boy quickly swallowed his lips and trudged away as if nothing happened.

Adria looked at him, She didn't actually think that he would do that, but she was a bit surprised. "I didn't actually think you would do that," she said as she looked at him, when she knew that he was being seductive to her, she smiled as she questioned him "Are trying to be seductive to me?" she asked him.

Paris rolled his eyes, "Ya' know that it takes away from the element of seductive looks when you point out that someone is trying to seduce you." He really enjoyed Adria at this point, but he still didnt know what he wanted in life. He was young with a lot of lige ahead of him. What was wrose he was openly Bisexual. Paris openly snogged boys and girls alike with little care for the repercussions of his actions. Many fell for him hard, but he would just let them keep falling. While he never gave much thought to how he behaved with sexually attractive people he was leaving tiny impacts on their lives everytime he showed interest in someone. While flirting and kissing and making out was all just fun and games to him he never took it for the emotional significance it actually carried unto others.

Adria saw right through him, she lowered her mouth to his ear, "Do you even have feelings, because you kissed me out of nowhere? Yet, I don't think you have any feelings for me" she said as she looked at him in the eye, "I'm Poly so it doesn't matter, I can see that you play games when it comes to relationships."

Paris raised his eyebrow at the accusation. He looked shocked more than he was hurt. "I kissed you because you said I was supposed to be pitying you. I would've never done so if I didn't think you were attractive. I am full of feelings, but I want something real with someone. Snogging and making out is just games and fun. I want a real connection, but until I find one Im going to have my fun." He didn't care to admit his truth he had no shame to hide. He really didn't like her pity party thinking anyone who gave her attention just felt sorry for her. She was attractive what did people have to feel sorry about. "You should smile more and maybe you could find a real connection. I don't play games just because I live life without regrets. I wont lie to you when I say I am attracted to you, but relationships shoyld be more serious. Im not even a registered adult yet, I dont play games ai just ve myself and have fun." He admitted more to himself than her, but if her view of him was a game player in the world of relationships how many others thought that about him, what if the people who got with him just did so because he is quick and easy. He doesnt play games or hard to get even if he does like being chased by others.

She looked at him, "I want a real relationship, here is a question for you. If I wanted a real relationship. Would I be able to be with you?" she asked him as her life was so hard, she never had a real relationship. But ever since she was a girl, she dreamed of dating someone that felt the same as her.

Paris sat up straighter as he pondered her question. Was she asking him out? No, perhaps she was just asking out of curiosity given her original assumption of him. This wasn't the sort of usual conversation one might have with their peers, but then again Adria was a little different than a peer cause he viewed her with interest and intrigue. "Define a real relationship. Its not like I have commitment issues, but like you I want guess I'm poly. I want someone to connect with on a deeper level and still have fun with them and others as I please. I want a relationship where I don't have to change anything about my life other than including them in it and being apart of theirs." He didn't know why he was sharing this much about himself with her, but she seemed genuine about wanting to know. "I am quite capable of having a real relationship with you, but while my attention and affection is easily won my heart is another matter. I want someone willing to speak with their actions rather than their words spend time with me and get to know me. I want someone to give me attention beyond how hot I am."

"Then we're in the same boat..." she said as she always felt that. All her relationships were just because of her past or because of her looks. "The reason I do ask is that, if I asked you out, you wouldn't say that I'm not interested in the girl that has so many mental issues," she says as she talks about her past and she barely brought that up, what was happening to her, does she actually like him?

Rolling his eyes Paris placed a hand on her shoulder, "If you are actually interested and we weren't talking hypothetically I would say Im very interested, but I never dive into anything thats meant to last. If you truly wanted me then make an effort to be apart of my life." He pulled his hand away and stood up as the hour chime of the clocktower rang loudly through the grounds. "If you define yourself by your mental health you aren't even trying to recover from it you are sulking in it. Strength and beauty comes from within while you may not be able ti help how you feel you still control how you react to it." He leaned over and kissed the top of her head sweetly. "I'll see you around, Adria." He winked before shouldering his bag that now held his text book and walked off toward the grand staircase.

Damien had waited patiently while eavesdropping from behind Paris and Adria. As Paris walked away Damien found his seat next to Adria. "So what was that about? You know he likes guys, right? He hasn't even had an actual relationship since first year." He pulled out a pack of crystallized pineapple and offered some to his friend. Damien liked Paris and had often seen him snogging guys and girls alike. But that didn't stop him from wanting him.

Adria saw Damien, "I actaully been working on my health, but he didn't see that, yet I like him" She said as she looked at him, "And he actually gets me..." she says as she looked at him, "Did I stomp on your moment?" she asked her life-long friend.

[Eros, Head of Hufflepuff House]

Damien laughed, "My moment?" He snorted a pineapple piece from inside his throat and choked slightly. "I could have him anytime of any day I wanted. Paris is an easy catch. You need someone who can help you get over your trauma and make you want to be faithful." He teased knowing very well she was poly and faithful had a different meaning for those sort of people.

Adria looked at him, "I'm over it, people keep bringing it up, like you!" she said as she just graduated from therapy and there was a party...secretly. "I don't like them bringing it up and you know that...Damien" she said as she got her bag and went to see where Paris went. She didn't even tell him the truth.

[What if...Damien sees Paris and Adria kiss and says that she betrayed him?]

(( Perhaps, i had similar thoughts as it had already been established with the two friends that they are both attracted to Paris. Damien already was eavesdropping when he kissed her before, but he figured that was just childish play. If he seen them deliberately kiss Damien may question his loyalty to his friend and while he may feel betrayed he wouldnt down right say it aloud. I think he would let it fester.))

((Damien does experiment with the Dark Arts in secret and honestly I think it could lead to him hurting Paris just so niether of them could have him.))

Damien watched her walk away in one of her moods again. He didn't pay it much mind as he shouldered his bag and chased after her. "What do you even see in a guy with the emotional range of a spoon?" Damien had inner thoughts he kept silent because his hopes were Paris might settle down on his floozy games and maybe find love in him. "Adria, stop wasting your time you are better than that. You only think he gets you because he plays with people's emotions just to have his way with them. Have you seen the guys and girls he tosses to the side once he is bored? There is no way that giy was serious about wanting anything real. I watched a girl cry everyday for a year last term just because she thought they were a thing and caught him snogging two other people at the same time. She was devastated I don't want that for you, Adria." He pleaded, but he knew once her mind was made up she was determined ti see her idea through.

Adria was slipping between people as she saw Paris, she was ignoring Damien as she never told him that she was poly and that she would be okay with that. "Paris?" she said once she reached down the hall and saw the person that might finally know wat it felt to be Poly.

Damien follows closely behind Adria, but not seeking to interfere with her young romance simply observe as a friend and let her know if he feels it is healthy for Adria to pursue.
