Cheryl, I have a few nonfiction books I have to finish up or start reading. They are going to be due at the library. I have that limitation too. Less, options in letters. However in the Jane Austen life in the country nonfiction I'm reading there is letters to her sister, letter from her father, and stuff like that. I wonder if that will count as characters speaking.Woohoo Diane, I'll add it to the spreadsheet. We are rolling, rolling, rolling. :)
More precious than rubies team, yay for us. Do you realize we have read our colour 5 times over and we have almost 48 hours of reading time left. :) We are awesome! I know I'll probably have two more books to add before our time is up so we should definitely make our goal of 6 x SHAMROCK. :D Bravo!
I have 5 books to read by then. I will have one maybe two finished tonight. Right now my books is so horrible. I am just pushing through it. :(
I should have known it's YA. I really need to look at peoples favorites before I listen to a recommendation. We are doing awesome!
Thanks for the reminder Allison. I have the countdown clock posted in message 4 but here is the link to the countdown.

Now I'm stuck on what to read next. I've wasted so much time tonight just surfing the web, I need to stare at my shelves and decide.

Sorry I haven't been chatty, team. My work schedule has been crazy and I have been using the free time to read. I have 4 books in progress and should be able to finish most of them by tomorrow. It is my late work shift tonight so I won't be home until almost 2am, I work 12-9 tomorrow and 7-7 on Sunday. I'll quickly update when I can!
Rachel, thank you for keeping up the spreadsheet for us. You rock.
Michelle, don't worry about your work schedule. Mine has been kind of odd too. I will have all next week off, Spring Break. So, I plan on reading some great books then. I plan on having about 4 or 5 books (shorter books) done by tomorrow night. It's okay that our group isn't chatty. All of us put Don't Care in the if we want a chatty group or not. :P
I figure if we aren't chatting, then we are reading. :) Look at those big books Mollie had. That was a biggie.
In about an hour I will be done with

this was a bit more chic-lit that I would have liked in my Demon Duster book, but still cute if you are in the right mood.
Diane, I love the RPG challenge. It always makes me read more. I look around for books for it. I get excited when I find books that would work perfectly. I will add you book to the spreadsheet later tonight. :)

Rachel, would you mind posting our spreadsheet in the captain's group for us? Otherwise I will try to set an alarm at work and get it posted before our deadline. Let me know when you get a chance.
I sure will. I didn't get to finish my book either book. I have until tomorrow to 6pm so I will have 4 books by then. :)
I updated the spreadsheets and checked bookshelves. We have 635 points! Once I finish my book we have finished our 6th spell out of Shamrock. I have made the spreadsheet of Baby Powder for week two. :)

RachelvlehcaR wrote: "I'll update the books later on tonight. I am having game night at a friends. Great job everyone."I hope you had fun Rachel. I'm curious, were you playing board games? I ask because that is one of my hobbies.
So I'm off to work again. This schedule is killing me. Not even home 9 hours before I am back. Anyway, I have several books I am finishing that will roll to baby powder.
I will start getting the letters together for our next word tonight.
Allison Ann, just post it when you finish. I will place it in the spreadsheet. :)Diane, yes, it's board game night. My best friend invites me to the big board game nights. We have them a least once a month. We have about 6 to 9 people every game night. I do well in them even when the games are new.
Michelle, I hope you have a few days of coming up. I will be also finishing up of books of baby powder too.
Allison Ann, how is The Last Light of the Sun? I have a few of Guy Gavriel Kay books and need to read them. Also, did you like The Drawing of the Three? I read it back when we had the TT challenge. I'm working on the third book. Do you think you'll continue on in the series.Cheryl, did you like I, Robot? It's been on my trl for a long time. I have always wanted to read the The Other Boleyn Girl. How it the series or did you just read the book as a stand-alone?
Michelle, I was wondering about the series A Walt Longmire Mystery. I was told by my reading buddy that it was recommended to him. You are far in the series, do you like that series? Shall, I read them?

That is awesome. I usually host a game night once a month as well. What are your favorite games? My favorite right now is Marvel Legendary, but I also really like Splendor, Qwirkle and Castles of Burgundy.
Right now my favorites are Superheros (it's a card game of planning and chance), Nuclear War (I have been kicking but in this game), Firefly the board game.We change it around all the time. Depending on what the gathering is focused on we will have that person pick the game they want to play. If it's a birthday or special occasion that person gets to pick the game we play. We have a lot of games to choose from. A few we never played, they are brand new. We are looking forward to play.
@Rachel - of the ones you've listed, I've only played Firefly the boardgame, which I do like, it just takes so long. I'm going to have to look into Superheros as I like the theme.
⏰ Reminder: We only have 4 more hours until Week 1 is finished.➤ If posting books for Week 1 please post them ASAP. Books for week one need to be read before noon, Sunday 29th March, Australian Eastern Daylight Savings time. (Due in 3 hours and 50 minutes.)
➤ Make sure you have the book in your WAT bookshelf. (All the books posted to this point are in your bookshelves. I've checked them all.)
➤ Make sure you have posted the correct edition in your bookshelf.
➤ Please check out official spreadsheet to see if everything is correct on your book. (Mistakes happen.)

Whatever character I play I just play illegal and then starting doing immoral jobs. You know like poisoning the water supply. You get paid lots of money and I've found it works well. I tend to beat everyone when playing as a evil villain verses the noble hero. :D
I make allies with the bad guys, do all my tasks, and make tons of money, making for a short game.

My library has The Girl on the Train, I'll go sign up for that one if they are still taking names. The other books do not exist in my world, sorry.
LOL, Allison Ann, I know what you mean. There are only two books I'm interested in reading, the Sci-fi book and The Girl on the Train. The rest I'm just taking it for the team.
I've finished Summer Heat for S title. And Real Dangerous Girl for K Series.
I'm trying to finish my last book but I don't think I'll be able to get it done in 15 minutes. So, I just might add it for Baby Powder.
RachelvlehcaR wrote: "Allison Ann, how is The Last Light of the Sun? I have a few of Guy Gavriel Kay books and need to read them. Also, did you like The Drawing of the Three? ..."Rachel, GGK is one of my favourite authors. His writing is just so beautiful and the stories make you think and sincerely care about the worlds he builds. He's not a terribly prolific author so I spread them out so I don't run out. He's probably the only author I pay money for anymore. My favourite book by him is Tigana and then A Song for Arbonne but I have a soft spot for The Fionavar Tapestry too, his first novels, the first I read, more romantic than his later works. I highly recommend you try him. Not much gore though. :D
I'm planning on reading the Longmire books eventually. They've been recommended by everyone I know who has read them.
Right now I'm reading Tigana. So far it's amazing. I'm not far in it but it's already great. I'm looking forward to finishing it this week. I have heard good things about the Longmire books. I'm going to check the series out.
I submitted out spreadsheet. We have earned 635 points. We have done 6 full spell outs
We have read 54 for the 6 full spell outs.
Amazing Team Ruby! Amazing! We shamrocked this week's challenge! :P
