DANDELION for our last week. Not my first choice, but I'm sure I can find some Ds and vowels somewhere.
Dandelion is not as easy as scarlet. We are just zipping along with scarlet. For some reason I found neon carrot our hardest.
I finished (fits only one letter, as a non-fiction, but at least a letter we need):Book: Counseling Suicidal People
Author: Paul G. Quinnett
Pages:240
C: Title
I will finish The Mystery of the Blue Train by Agatha Christie today and will then start to work on DANDELION afterwards. I will not get much done for our total the final week. So sorry.

Yeah, those N's are surprising hard to find, and we have 2 again.

by Anthony Bourdain finished tonight."I read that recently and thought it was good. I think my favorite was reading about the fish cleaning guy.

Don't worry. My book is nonfiction too. It only works for A.
I have to take my client to an appointment so I can add in your book afterwards.

I am enjoying it but I really like Tony.
Good thing that all of the "C's" we have used for spell-outs have lots of other letter choices for those books! Looks like we have a ways to go to do another spell-out. The Agatha Christie book I am working on works for all letters except "S." I may be able to get my Mao Tse-tung book read, too. That would only work for "T."
I should have 3 maybe 4 done by the deadline. I've been looking for next week and I have 2 D titles and 2 N titles handy. No yellow covers though.
I think I have a yellow for next week! Let me double check. I should be home in a few hours and I'll get everything updated.

Woohoo! We are doing great! I just got home too. Finished my book. I put it in. I'm so tired. I have another 13 hour day tomorrow. Just two more 13 hour days to go before my one day off!

Weird. I put it in last night. Let me check what is up...It's there. It's in spell out #4 for the C.
How bizarre, it is there, but it isn't in the spreadsheet I have open from earlier. Oh well, as long as it counts. :D

I am half way through my book. Hoping to get to my second book before deadline. I went through my books and saw I have a lot of books with the letters L, A, N, and D.
Nice. We will need those N's and D's.After I finish up my three I will look at next week. I have to finish two for a challenge today.
Thanks for updating my books. I don't get a lot of computer time so I was just coming in here to do my list.
We are looking good this week. 2 1/2 hours to the deadline, so let us know as you finish up your books so we can add them to the sheet.545 points right now. I have one more to finish before the deadline as well.
This is the last one for me this week. Now I'm going to watch hockey and read a D title between periods. :)Book - Eternal Vows by Chrissy Peebles - 280 pages - 2 stars

Love it! Enjoy the game.Everything is updated and verified to this point. I will keep checking in over the next hour before our posting deadline to capture any final reads.
Thanks Michelle. It helps so much. Work is getting in the way for me. I just finished my book. Peace Out.
Let's finish this last week strong! Start looking for lots of D's and N's...and those pesky I's and O's.
Go ahead and post. :)I have 7 D books lined up and 4 N books. It's the O books I am short on but I am just looking at titles and authors. I haven't looked at characters. Also all these books are under 180 pages. I have 21 books lined up.
I'm having trouble finding Is, but I should be good for all the other letters.Montreal won and I'm enjoying my first D book. :D Good night all around.

I enjoy this cozy series and the neat facts about book binding sprinkled throughout are pretty cool too.
I am working on Out of Africa, so at least an O there. The author is listed on Goodreads as Karen Blixen, but the book shows it written under her pseudonym of Isak Dinesen. So, I hope that it counts for O, I, or D.The second book I have is Open a World of Possible...a non-fiction, but works for O or L.
If I can get a 3rd one done, it will be The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank. That will work for D, A,E, and O. So, I can be a help on vowels, it appears. I hope that I can be some help this week!
This version shows both names: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7.... We should be ok, especially since the actual book cover has Isak Dinesen on it. I loved that book. And
too. Her life was interesting and sad and then interesting again.
I'm half way into my book. I'm so tired I just can't read any more tonight. These 13 hour work days are just kicking my rump. I will finish it tomorrow with at least two more books. I'm just too shattered to go on tonight...We did great! Great end to a week and great start to a week.
Thanks Michelle for all the work!
We had a great week it seems like. Way to go Rubies! A few of the teams have been complaining of burnout, or how they are too busy, but I think we are going to be able to finish as strong as we started, so yay for us!That said, I fell asleep reading and didn't finish my book. :D But I'll get it done today, I'm quitting early for mother's day dinner so I'll have reading time after. Happy Mother's Day to those who are moms.
Happy Mother's Day team ruby! I have to work all day (13 hours) I am planning to read during my down time at work.
I fell asleep last night reading but might finish tonight. I work until 9 tonight so it depends on what time I actually get home. We are doing great! Let's finish this last week strong and win this thing.
Lol we are falling asleep read. Is that a sign we are reading too much? I would have finished my book last night but when I had to reread the same page because I wasn't able to comprehend and retain it, I called it a night.
