Did general users used to be able to edit entries?

Hi Librarians!

I'm just curious about this - but I seem to remember a few years back being able to edit/add new books as a general Goodreads user. Was this the case? When did it change?

I had a reading slump at some point and only recently realised I could no longer do any edits myself.

General users used to be able to add new books, but that changed in June(?) of last year. If there's something that needs editing, though, the Book & Author Page Issues folder is usually the place to be: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
