SOLVED. Kids Nonfiction 1970s book about Ecology with a section on Recycling (recycling centers, etc.). It was softcover, printed on brown/ kraft paper with hand-drawn illustrations. [s]

I think it was published in or around 1975, but that may be wrong. Definitely a hippie-dippy type book, with lots of illustrations. The text may have been typed or hand-written. (It's been probably 45-ish years since I last checked it out from my small-town library when I was a kid, so...details are fuzzy.). I definitely remember a page spread or two about recycling centers and what they do.
