Hello, I am Grace. I am a 20 year old law student and have just started getting back into reading. I have read 27 books this year already. I love dark romance and fantasy and would love to make some friends that also enjoy reading :)
I'd be down Selah! I have a book I'm hoping to finish by the end of this week and then could start one with you!
Does anybody want to read either Gulliver's travels or The Outsiders with me? I've been trying to get up the motivation to read them over thanksgiving break and now that it's Christmas break I don't want them to be forgotten on my to-read list.
Hello, y'all! I'm looking for anyone interested in reading Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games series). It comes out on March 18, 2025.
I'm thinking of starting The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue, a friend lent it to me (I have no idea if there is any content I should be warning about just a heads up!)Anyone interested in doing a buddy read with me on it?
hey Angela! I just looked up ur book and my library has it available, I would be glad to read it with you and willing to ride the unknown content train with you! 😉 I'm on a roll for books that take place in libraries right now. It will take me 2-3 days to get the book but let me know when you want to start.
Yay!! 👏👏 I asked Taz to make one for us, it should pop up under the Buddy Reads category. But we can start reading whenever 😊

@evangelise rose—my book arrives Wednesday the 19th. If you are still down to read it together 😀 I have not started the BOTM yet 🫣 so I can wait if you don't have it yet.

Aw, sorry, Audrey... it's too bad I didn't see your comment a few weeks ago, or else I would have read it with you because my sister and I are reading Little Women this month too. Sorry.
Jasmine (Jazzie) [Jesus Loves You!!] wrote: "Does anyone want to buddy read The Lord of the Rings with me?"Is that the first book?
Mia, it's the name of the whole trilogy. The name of the first book is The Fellowship of the Ring. 🙃
Jasmine (Jazzie) [Jesus Loves You!!] wrote: "Does anyone want to buddy read The Lord of the Rings with me?"I'd love to do that!! I still haven't read LOTR and need to read it lol
Lil, okay, great! I own a copy of The Fellowship of the Ring, so I can start whenever, though I'll wait a bit longer before asking for a thread for us to see if anyone else would like to join us.

My dad has a copy of each book in the series so I can start it whenever too!!
I just requested them from my library so it may take a couple of days, but I'll let you know when I have them!🙃
Lillian wrote: "Wait, is that the first book in the series??"The Fellowship of the Ring is the first book. The Two Towers is the second. The Return of the King is the third. The Lord of the Rings is the trilogy as a whole.
Mia❤ (Semi-Hiatus) wrote: "Do you have to read the hobbit first?"No, though it is usually recommended to read it first, and it does give a backstory to how exactly Bilbo got the ring, but you don't have to read it first.
Ohh okay!! I could read it then!! For some reason I thought it was the third book lol Is the Silmarillion connected to it?? I thought I saw that it was a prequel or something. I have a copy of that on my physical tbr, and I still need to read it.....
The Silmarillion is about the history of middle earth before the war of the ring, but I would suggest reading it after reading the hobbit and the Lord of the rings.
The Silmarillion just tells of like, the history of Middle Earth, like how it was made and other stuff, but you don’t have to read it before LotR.

Elliana and Karaline, I finished it about a week and a half ago. But you two should totally read it! It's so good, simply lovely.
