Trying to remember the series i read in high school. Its about a girl who moves in with her father. >spoilers< who she later finds out is an elf, his cat is basically puss in boots and she is 1/2 elf >spoilers< it would have come out mid 2000’s to 2013 ish. Author i believe was female. YA fantasy series. There was at least three books. I do remember in a secondary novel one of her friends ended up being the love interest >spoliers< of a unicorn named Einhorn. >spoilers<
I think the cover was green or red leaves with a girls face peering through.
