Thank you, I own the first 2 in physical and have loaded up

Ack! I'm so sorry. I'm your pick person, but my nights and days have gotten horribly mixed up, and just ugh all around. Here's what I was probably going to pick all along. Maybe.

I liked it even though the plot was a bit slow. Great realistic characters.

It was a short and super easy read. I don't normally read that fast, lol. I still have two books to go though.
I finished
and can highly recommend it! Now for my bonus - but I think I'll start with the first one in the series. It looks really good!

I read

I finished both this month. I enjoyed them both too! Thank you for the great picks. I had been going back and forth on whether I wanted to read Wrong Place Wrong Time and I'm glad you got me to read it!

Review -
“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” --nursery rhyme, and the first lie we learned in school
From an early age Sally Gertie understood what it was like to not be wanted by anyone. Once upon a time she was, but then her mother died and her father found solace in the bottle of a whiskey bottle. Her father loved her, but was incapable of knowing how to show it due to the loss of his wife. Kids in school made fun of her because she was dirty, came from the wrong side of the tracks, and her father had lost a good job by no fault of his own, and then had to take a job as the town's garbage man. When her father died she was on her own. Her only friend was the boy next door who did as much as he could to help her, but was limited in what he could do because his parents did not approve of Sally. Eventually Sally grows up and the world is still cruel to her. So cruel, that in one moment an explosion at the hospital takes away something very precious to her.
Finn is a reporter who comes into town. He is a journalist who is supposed to write a piece for his employer on the explosion that occured in the town some 30 years ago. The more he digs into the story, the more he realizes that something has been covered up. Along with the woman, Billie, who works at the motel they began to uncover something that could change Finn and Sally's lives.
My heart broke for Sally in this book. People are freaking cruel and have been since the dawn of time. The shit they put Sally through during her life should be punishable under the law.
Poor Finn got hit with doozy of a revelation towards the end of the book that rocked his world. It's a good thing that Billie was there to help him through it,
I really did like the book, but the ending felt very rushed in my opinion.
