Two books are considered two editions of the same book instead of part 1 and 2

I've been redirected here from a question I posted, I asked :
There's 2 books that are first and second part of one book in an edition in Spanish.
I added the first one and it was ok, but when I try to add the second one, the first one disappeared and viceversa.
I tried to select another edition of the book manually, but the error persist.
I don't know how to solve this.
The books are ISBN 8484218406 and 8484218414

The answer was to post here because they seem to be 2 editions of the same book, and not two parts of one book. The book it's also part of a serie, so it's more difficult to solve.

I'm a librarian, but a newby one, I only add new books and covers, and change descriptions to spanish in spanish books, little things like this. I don't know how to fix this problem.

Also I found, searching if in another language there's the same case that it exists another book from the same editorial that corresponds to the entire book

Hi there, I'm going through the old requests (max 1 year old), to see if we missed any requests. Thanks for your patience. Which book is Book #1 Part #1 and which is Book #1 Part #2? Then I can see if I can change it.

The info in each page seems correct but I don't have the complete book only the separates volumes.

Ok, so I uncombined the books that are Chalion, #1 part #1 in the series & Chalion, #1 part #2 in the series from the whole books. And I saw that there is a Japanese edition that also had the same divide, so I combined each individual book with its Japanese counterpart. I also changed the titles and changed their location in the series. Now this all should be fixed. =D

Please help the Librarians to focus on the requests that are still open, by moving this topic to the "Archived" folder (and your other completed requests*). I can't do that. Instructions:
1. Click on the tiny "edit"-button at the right of the topic's title (only available for desktop/laptop, not in the app)
2. Change the folder to "Archived"
3. Don't forget to click on "SAVE"

* It would be great if you moved all your 'done' requests about adding new books/editions to the "[Closed] Added Books/Editions" folder and all the other 'done' requests to the "Archived" folder. Go to the Home page of the Goodreads Librarians Group and click on "My Group Topics" (find an example screen shot here.).

I archived or closed all my requests, there are only 4.
The first one it's already closed, I don't remember if I do when they solve my problem or directly the librarian could close it.

Thanks! Librarians can close requests from the "Adding New Books & Editions" folder, but not anywhere else =D
