Currently, I am reading Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber and I am losing my mind! Please no spoilers but I NEED to talk about this with someone who has read it! So if you are available let me know and we can have it out because JACKS! Ugh!

WARNING THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS.Oh my gosh! Ok! So I am right at the part where Jacks just showed up at the dinner party that Evangeline is at for Apollo.
And he just “made her interesting” by pretending to kiss her or kind of pretending to chase after her so that Apollo will be jealous.
“I told you I would kiss three people that you chose, not you.”“Then why aren’t your pulling away?”
“I can’t fight you-your a fate.”
“Lies. I am not hurting you or kissing you.”
ouabh is my fav Stephanie Garber duology (soon to be trilogy) and YES JACKS IS JUST SO PERFECT AHHHHHHHHHHH
I KNOW! And this is like the first time that I have fallen for a “villain.”

It is NOTHING LIKE CARAVAL. Besides it being in the same world. It is way better!!
i was so shocked when i read it bc it was so different from caraval (in the best way possible tho) and i fully believe that it is also like a trillion times better than caraval!

I know! Apollo is so annoying! Ugh. But Jacks is so perfect even though he is Loki the bad guy, I really don’t care because just the way that he acts and the things that he says and his attitude 😘

She was about to get bit by freaking Luc (I HATE HIM) and Jacks (on INSTINCT) jumped in front of her so that she would not be bit and literally saves her life. Also all of this after he sat in a chair for a whole day just holding her in his lap because that was what would save her. And like I know that he “needs” her to open the Valory Arch but that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. He is falling in love with her!!!!

Wait, Im so sorry but this is literally killing me, like every page just crushes my soul more. He is all like “you should go” and she DOES NOT. And he is like “why aren’t you going” and she says, “I’m not leaving you like this” UGH ITS KILLING ME. SHE LITERALLY SAYS “if she ever saw luc again, she would use a sword.”

Sooooo, I FINISHED ONCE UPON A BROKEN HEART LAST NIGHT! 5 stars! I LOVED IT. I’m going to start The Ballad of Never After tonight! But also….WHY IN THE WORLD DID APOLLO STILL HAVE TO BE ALIVE. We do not need him for the story.
