I'm not usually a fan of recent historicals, or wartime books. This was different for me - plus a very very wartime British voice, which can be a little hard for an American to understand!

I read your Dare book for me, [book:Pen Pal|60192737]. I won’t say anything about the story because anything I could say would be a potential spoiler. I will say that it certainly was a ride! I had a good time with Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic. It gave me Sookie Stackhouse's Southern Vampire Mystery vibes. I really like that it's set in Vancouver. The players in this game are intriguing, and I am curious of the main character's origins. (view spoiler) Thank you for a pick I would have never found on my own!
