Y/A, Fiction- kid stuck in a school with robots

From what I remember the main character gets dropped off in a car at this school. All the kids are banging on the windows and he’s confused watching them until the car drives away and they all stop. When he goes inside it’s explained that they are stuck here and we’re trying to warn him.

They’ve divided themselves into these groups (I don’t remember their names) but it’s just like tribes or teams. He’s immediately put under pressure to choose a team and he does. They’re split up over who does what chores around the school I think.

When the kids go to classes their locked in the room for a certain period of time and I don’t remember if they ever actually learn in there or they just sit.

Anyways the main character starts to fall for this girl, and when a dance for all the kids is announced he’s like “YEAH!!” So they go together, but then something happens, I think they get in a fight and she gets hit by another kid. Anyways when the main character wakes up she’s like walking weird and limping and he realizes she’s a robot.

So then I think he tells everyone and through a lot of quarreling they devise a plan to get out, through the woods. The people who run the school chase them and eventually they find this farm filled with the actual humans who match up with the robots.

This farm works similarly to the school, they can’t really leave, but they do different work. The main character tries to figure out what’s going on and eventually with the help of someone else (don’t remember who) they find this alien running it all? And he’s made these camps and schools al over the world. So they kill him and leave and it kinda stops there.

Anyways I just remembered this book one morning and it’s killing me to find it. So, yeah!
