My apologies Justin, I think I got my groups mix..."
No worries!

+1 for seed by Ania Ahlborn.

I know he's known for his own genre, but some of his 8nvolve wayward outsiders finding weird cults in isolated communities.

It's 3,5 years since the Twisted Ones was a group read, as far as I can see on the list; how do we decide when a title is eligible within the 3-4 years span?

THe 3-4 years was old language from whomever initiated the original rules .Us current mods have modified how we do things, and for the most part been disallowing anything that shows up on the previous read lists in an effort to bring new titles to the group and not keep re-reading the same popular books, even though not everyone may have been around when they were read before.
If anyone wants to read previous group reads as a group, there's always the buddy reads option. Anyone can set those up at any time and read or re-read whatever titles you wish,

Kindle version of The Whistling (in English) is available on all European Amazon sites (Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, UK) with the exception of Sweden. I don't know if that helps?

Ooooh, does this count as folk horror? I was thinking of reading this month anyway :) +1 The Whistling
