Sentence Game

Okay so if you havent played this before, one person writes a sentence, then the next person writes another sentence, continuing the story.
e.g.
Person 1: The sky is so blue today.
Person 2: until the clouds covered the sky and darkness filled the world.

Get it?
I'll start;

The dog looked towards the bone hungrily.

The polka dotted umbrella was vibrating back and forth to the movement of his cold, shivering mouth.

(Brendan, it continues the story about the dog, you dont start a new story you keep the one going, it can go in any direction and can be as werid as you want, just keep it going!!)

It was a polka dotted umbrella, the dog sighed as well as a dog could and turned around and began walking towards the road.

The dog whimpered in fear and cowered, his tail between his legs.

(I honestly dont know why it is a story about a dog ...)

The shadow moved closer, revealing a raccoon with a dead mouse in it's mouth.

The dog growled back at the raccoon but moved slightly backwards

The dog looked at the bone dubiously but decided it couldnt be anything too bad and took the bone.

The dark figure smiled at the dog and waited imaptiently for something to happen...

((THANK GOD! I might just have had to murder you too))
The dark figure is taken aback, "What are you talking about, it was a chocolate bone"

The dark figure looks sad, "I'm sorry little dog, tell your friend to come over, I won't hurt you," there is an unspoken 'much' at the end.

The figure smiles 'nicely' at the dog and the poodle, before bringing out an object that had both the poodle and the dog quivering.

The figure looks confused for a moment and then realises that he is holding a knife, he drops it and runs after the dogs.
