Ani | 66 comments I’m planning to read it because I got the WHOLE series and now i don’t know what’s gonna happen if I don’t like the first book…

Stella 🍉 | 369 comments I was fine with the first three, but the last two books of the series were horrible. America’s inner monologue was definitely “I’m not like other girls,” but she did have a personality, so that was good. Also the politics were a little weird for me, but overall it was a nice read

victoria (victoriarxses) | 23 comments i really enjoyed the first three books but i disliked the last two. in my opinion, eadlyn acted entitled. at least she improves by a bit in the 5th book

Bella Starr (bella_starr) | 98 comments It's an easy read to get into, but the second one dragged for me. The third one picks up again and is probably my favorite. I hated the last two; Eadlyn is really selfish and annoying. I will say I've read the first three books twice and it reads on the younger spectrum of YA.

blossom ⚛︎ (bluestones) it's an easy read. America is a typical 'not like other girls' character, she's annoying. Maxon had a few.good lines throughout the series but was kinda a red flag though. Once I finished the main trilogy I never picked up the Eadlyn ones or the side novellas.
the author herself was caught in a controversy about faking reviews on goodreads and disrespecting reviewers

felixapplelover19 | 24 comments i read it several years ago and it was an easy read. i think i enjoyed it then

scout wren | 62 comments if your looking for a “beach” read or otherwise a super easy fast paced clean romance / hunger games type thing i would recommend it but otherwise i didn’t like the writing, the mc was my least favorite mc EVER 😡 i will have to take anger management therapy if i ever read those books again. but anyways i would rate the series a 4/10 🫣🫣

Mads | 7 comments I love love love this series! It’s no spice, easy to understand, and magical. Paper rings from lover reminds me of Marlee and Carter cuz they have the strings as rings.

samantha aly | 307 comments the og trilogy is my CHILDHOOD, but the last 2 i dnf'd. i will actually throw that book if i ever pick it up again

Erin (Rhys’s Version) | 80 comments I honestly really like it, its a little annoying sometimes but its still a great YA romance. The last 2 books in the series abt her daughter are just not it- they kinda suck but oh well it kept me entertained… I also love how quick i read them
