Alien interrogation hero thinks she is spy

He interrogates her. Sends her away with a guard and he thinks hero means to beat or whip her (can’t recall which they did) like any other prisoner. She gets strung up and beaten. He finds her and is furious.

That’s all I remember sorry, not sure when this was published.
