A A Curious Beginning by her is fun. I enjoy that series.

Deborah wrote: "I finished reading Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things by Rachelle J Christensen Last night. While I had suspicions throughout the book the ending did surprise me."

I love it when that happens. I think it's fun when I don't figure it out right away.

I read one this month! I read The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. My favorite story was The Case of the Red-Headed League.

Brittany | 120 comments I just finished Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder. I did not think it would be a mystery when I picked it up (the tag line is "A Novel About the History of Philosophy") - but I think it would definitely qualify as a mystery. It starts with our main character, Sophie, receiving mysterious letters addressed to someone named Hilde and we don't discover what's really going on until the very end of the book.

I'm still hoping to get 1 more mystery novel in this month. Fingers crossed!

It's unusual when there is a mystery without a crime. What a fun discovery!

alisonwonderland (Alison) | 70 comments I listened to The Silent Patient and read The Paris Apartment for this challenge.

Linda Nielson | 279 comments I read another book in the Hannah Swenson Mystery series.

Only one more week** to let me know what you've read for the challenge.

I will be on vacation, until the 4th of June, so I won't announce the winner of this challenge until I get back.

I will also be putting the May challenge up, before Memorial Day. *fingers crossed*

**edited, because I put month, when I meant week. lol.

Britt, Book Habitue (britt--bookhabitue) | 767 comments I've also read:
A Murderous Relation (gotta love Deanna Raybourn)
The Tale of Oat Cake Crag
Mastering the Art of French Murder (yeah... this one did not work for me...I definitely won't be reading more of the series)

Darin | 121 comments Also finished listening to Glory in Death by J. D. Robb. Pretty good, but I was surprised by all of the swearing. I read a lot of action thrillers, and it doesn't seem to bother me there, but I think it's because I'm reading them and not listening to them.

message 62: by Whitney (new)

Whitney Weinberg | 30 comments I read Drunk on All Your Strange New Words by Eddie Robson for this challenge.

You commented that you were thinking of reading it, but didn't say that you finished it. So, I appreciated that said you finished it. :D
