Although this novel had been on my virtual shelves for more than a year, I had not yet read it. So I want to start by thanking the group for this wonderful challenge. It has been a good choice picking up the glove. I don't think I had such a good time reading since the beginning of the year.

I read it last year and the more that I reflect on the story, the more I realize that listening to it as an audiobook was a perfect choice for me and the audio format really helped me enjoy the story.

Finished this one earlier in the month and the audio version really helped keep me into it 🎧. I’d give it 3.5 ⭐️ .Loved the characters and truly felt like I was there experiencing everything. Different genre than I’m used to, glad I got to try it out with everyone this month. 📖✨

I really enjoyed this one and gave it five stars.

I really enjoyed this story. I liked seeing what kind of plan Grace would come up with. I liked watching him puzzle and think of the kids, etc. The addition of Rocky really made this story pop. I also enjoyed the flashbacks how they revealed what was happening.

There is more language than I expected but it did not detract from the story.
