Tracy | 15 comments Hi I need help finding the name of this book?
I read a book with a woman in a bookstore and who was near closing down, then she saved a man, who was a vampire, then at night she starts getting business. The leader of the vamps starts to date her or something. I think it was a comedy but cant be sure. Its really annoying me that I cant find it.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) | 538 comments Bookstore, comedy, and vamps makes me think of Jane Jameson, but the premise isn't quite the same

Waffle Monarch | 59 comments I also wouldn't mind reading this book.

Grace (Calcat) | 99 comments I agree with Alana that it sounds a bit like Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs (Jane Jameson, #1) by Molly Harper She does work in a bookshop and she does save someone early in the first book but she is a vamp herself by this point. There is a lot of humour in Molly Harper's books.

Hi Tracy, I'm sorry, but I'm unsure what book you mean. Sorry! I know how frustrating finding books you don't know the title of is.

Carolyn Davis | 34 comments I know the book, but can not think of the name right now, you are right she is human. Want to think she inherited the bookshop.
Do you remember if this a stand alone or part of a series ?

Lokki (lokki8) | 18 comments Is it Tall, Dark & Dead (Garnet Lacey, #1) by Tate Hallaway that you are thinking of? It's been quite a while since I read it but I think it might fit the bill....

BR Kingsolver (brkingsolver) | 30 comments A book that is similar to this is H.P. Mallory's

Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble

Is the book shop inherited & haunted (by her relative)(the AC goes on & off), and he runs a stand in a village market, he has brothers? They're looking for a book with a certain story or spell in it and the "ghost" kind of drops the book at them or off the shelf. One of the brothers wards the store but the ward only protects her if she's inside but she leaves the store and the bad guy goes after her.

Actually I found the book I was describing. It was Kiss Of Fire by Deborah Cooke, and it's about dragons not vampires, sorry.
