I’ll third Wuthering Heights. I read it a few years ago and enjoyed it :)

Yep! You can second up to 3 books if you also nominate 3. Or you can second up to 6 books if you don't nominate any. :)

Why can we nominate Wuthering Heights, exactly? 😅 I have no problem doing so, but it’s gothic literature, not fantasy.

Is it? Idk XD. We don’t have to read it if it doesn’t meet the standards of botm nominations

I don't mind! I hope it's fine to bend the rules for the sake of a classic :)
I'd love to have the people here in a GR group dedicated to reading classic literature. But that might cause the schism 😅

Yeah, I was wondering how Wurthering Heights could qualify as a fantasy. 🤔
(@Stephen, I responded to your comment on my review—just making sure you saw it. Many times I don’t get notifs for those kind of comments/posts.😊)

Yeah, I heard all the characters are awful people, haha!

Okay, I hope to get the poll up VERY SOON, but we've got two small problems.
First, would you guys like me to count Wuthering Heights? (Just saying that since the title is so well known, if you guys say yes to including it, it will almost certainly win.)
And second, we've got a weird tie in terms of nominations between Swift, Moonscript, and Heartless. I can't include them all in the poll, though, because then it would be too much! So, someone with "seconds" left: please second one of them. XD

No to Wuthering Heights, since I want Heartless to win.
If I've seconded the other books, take them away and I still say Heartless.
(I'm too biased for this... XD)

Lol, yeah, I was wondering whether anyone would mention the "weird things." Anyone else want a say?

I’ll second Moonscript to prevent Heartless from winning 😁
I say no to Wurthering Heights. I really don’t want to read it again, but my main reason is because it is not fantasy.

How... DARE youuuuuu! *tries to think of an insult* *fails* Dragon's teeth, Stephen!
I added in the three lower options as well because they were all so close. :') I usually try to keep the poll between 5 and 6 options. 4 is a little too low, and 7 is a little too much, but I made an exception this time. :)

You're welcome! 🤗
You're welcome! 🤗
Noo, I forgot to include:
(Just kidding Helena & Z.C. I’ll vote for Heartless). I was looking for a small font text converter, but got distracted 😅

Hey, btw, if there's a book up for voting that you'd love to have the group read together, and it doesn't win, I'd be willing to host a buddy read or even have two BotMs next month since it'll be the summer then (woo hoo, lol!). Just saying!
I’m sorry, Z.C., I’m usually not this *heartless* 😢😁

Thank you for your input, Taz! Maybe we could read it today sometime, though! I bet Wuthering Heights would make an amazing autumn read.
