is it really safe to recombine when the 2nd delete message (the one with the ID) is in the log?
it's there for hours for the Slater book but I can still use the link to the empty duplicate book page without seeing the error page.
Would not want the merges to go wrong tbh...

No, it's not safe to recombine until you see "edition: Deleted" message in the log.
They sometimes gets stuck. Let me know which one is stuck and I'll redo it.

I meant edition: Deleted edition id=60811658 title=The Widow primary author=K.L. Slater, merged 0 reviews
that is there for hours (more than an hour after the status change from public to deleted) isn't that the "edition: deleted" message?
(I would have it wrong in my head then, will go reread)

But https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... is still coming up for me even in incognito mode where it can't be my cache.

If you got edition: Deleted, it's safe to recombine.

yeah, it's the same message as mentioned in the manual (I checked, just in case...)
So I recombined.
