I also saw that Nicole has 1 book in her Read shelf that's been read since April 2014. I'm sure she must have read other books! They may be shelved in a way that I don't understand. I was just frustrated and tired last night. I don't mean to sound whiny. It's all good.

Review: I enjoyed this book. Their was a lot of chemistry between the characters. The love scenes were steamy. Some parts were hard to read due to the graphic violence that was described. I would read more by this writer.

Review: Not bad for a debut author. The heroines is too sweet and cute for my tastes and the writing style is problematic with too much unexplained jargon and weak sentence structure. Nevertheless, the secondary characters are interesting enough to continue the series.

Road of No Return

This is the story of Stitch, a 27 year old newly divorced Biker , and Zak, a tattoo artist who is new to town.
Stitch divorces his wife because he realizes that he is gay but being a member of the local MC, he is in the closet.
He meets Zak one evening when Zak comes into the bar to advertise his tattoo business.
This story is gritty. Although, there is alot of sex in this book, it doesn't shy away from the illegal activities of the club, and the eventual violence when Stitch's secret is out in the open.
This is the second book in the series I have read and have enjoyed them both.

Review: I really enjoyed Gates and reading of him finally finding his mate. At 400, he couldn't help but wonder if he had missed her somewhere along the way. Reading of the Omega's power was quite a treat for me. I liked the interaction between the Breed and the pack as well as working together against the nomads. The sensuality and sexy part of the main story was great, but I could have easily done without Magnus and the beginning of the book (hence my rating of a 4, not a 5). That opening was just a little too raw for me to start out such a great story.

Nice reviews everyone! Great job.

I'm really liking the series. I have the next two and am dying to read them as well. Next week is Spring Break here, so I should have some time on my hands. I plan on crafting and reading.

Review:
This book features Paige and Lucas as they try and solve a mystery surrounding Cabal children being kidnapped and murdered. Paige finally meets Benicio Cortez as they travel to Miami to solve the case. The book is long and sometimes overly detailed in the explanations of what and why and when and where. But overall, quite enjoyable. I like Paige and Lucas much better in this book - their relationship has matured. I also enjoyed all the interactions with secondary characters.

A reread for me but it has been awhile. I love Dylan and Alex. This is one of the Best fake relationship becomes real books that I have read. I like the evolution of Trent from a prick of an ex to a more understanding friend. this should be read if only to see what Noah, A friend of both MC, does next.

I agree Leslie. These books could be reduced by ~100 pages or so. Nevertheless, I like Paige and Lucas. Are you going to continue with the series?

Do Paige and Lucas continue to be the main characters in the next few books?

I've been listening to them on audio so I'll have to wait until I accumulate some Audible credits for the next few books.
Nope, that is it for Lucas and Paige being the focus. The next book is Eve's and then we are back to Elena. After that its Jaime's book and then a character we haven't met yet. After that Savannah, I think. I'm going to miss Paige :0(

Elaine, could I ask you to also type how the book fits the theme? Whilst I want the link included in the post, I don't want to HAVE to follow the link to see how you have made it fit. Hopefully you will understand what I'm saying :)

*butts in* Totally get why that'd be an issue, but just wanted to point out that it doesn't have to be a teacher & student in a taboo/inappropriate relationship together. At least one MC just has to be either a teacher OR a student.

Love, Hypothetically

Paul is a tutor at the local college. He is sent an e mail asking him to meet with the girls softball coach to arrange extra tutoring for them. What Paul doesn't realize is that the coach is his ex, they split up 9 years ago after a locker room incident.
I liked this book. Paul and Toby when they were speaking hypothetically were funny. There was some angst as the 2 MCs made their way back together.

Review: This was an emotional college love story. What I liked is it discussed sexual assault and empowering women to protect themselves. It was a quick read but I loved the characters.

Review:It's hard for me to review this book as reading it made me very uncomfortable. As the mother of college age girls - I'm not terribly fond of reading about them. I experience it on a daily basis. And so I tried to be dispassionate and see this book apart from that. It's a sweet little romance with a slightly gritty core as it attempts to deal with a serious subject. The main character started out rather insipid and whiny, but developed nicely but I never really got a handle on the boy (I have to call him that). But still, it was easy to read, over quickly but enjoyable.

I couldn't remember this book! But then I read my review and I should've rated it 3 stars. Hope you enjoy!

Review Quick, funny, and enjoyable. I laughed often and smiled a lot...which was just what I needed. Not extremely realistic, but that doesn't bother me. I read to enjoy and escape anyway...I live in reality daily. Light read with a cute storyline. I loved the idea of Charlie! Alex was dreamy and Beth was a spark plug. A few days is all the time this book covers, but tons can happen quickly with these two around.

Week 2:Life Lessons 276 pages
How it fits: (from the précis)
Tony Hart's life has been quiet lately. He has good friends and a rewarding teaching job. Then the murdered body of another teacher falls into the elevator at his feet, and Tony's life gets a little too exciting.
Jared MacLean is a homicide detective, a widowed father, and deeply in the closet. But from the moment he meets Tony's blue eyes in that high school hallway, Mac can't help wanting this man in his life. However Mac isn't the only one with his eyes on Tony. As the murderer tries to cover his tracks, Mac has to work fast or lose Tony, permanently.

Thanks!

Review: A sweet addition to the series. Tiger and Carly are incredible together. Carly is openminded and loyal to a fault. Her love, trust and acceptance of him despite his fearsome visage is heartwarming. That said, the ease and speed with which she accepts Tiger and the other shifters into her life does require a certain suspension of disbelief, but that goes without saying given the paranormal genre. Glad I didn't give up on the series with book #3.

I love me a Kaje book, I haven't read one that I haven't enjoyed. This is no exception. Tony hart is a teacher in high school when late in the day he is going up in an elevator to collect the last book of children's book for a book drive he held. When the elevator opens, the body of a dying teacher, Brian Westin falls on Tony. He calls the police, Jared MacLean is one of the homicide detectives assigned to the case. The case goes cold other than the threats to Tony and the hit and run killing of Tony's best friend, Marty, when they were out travelling from a bar to a movie theater. Tony gets kidnapped by the killer along with another teacher. The only things going right with Tony's life are Jared and his unofficial foster son Ben.
