Mansfield Park-Background information and pre-read chat

After reading all of your insightful and informative comments I decided to join in the MP group read, albeit now 2 weeks late! I hope I can catch up. While scrolling around for background information on the history extra website (thanks Trev), I found BBC history mag’s special edition “World of the Georgians” and discovered it was available on Overdrive though my library. Lots of info there, including a timeline of political events and some stuff about the army and navy.

It's literally never too late. Someone can go to a thread weeks, months or years later (though it might be under the Archived threads) and post, and those of us who check the site regularly will see it as a new post. Feel free to post in the first week as you finish it.
