So guys, do you listen to music while reading or do you prefer silence? Personally, I love listening to music and reading atst!! <3

I TRIED BUT I GOT SO DISTRACTED AND COULDN'T READ
some songs distract me too. but I found out listening to The Neighborhood while reading is perfect for me!! idk why :)
i cant listen to Taylor or even the Taylor piano instrumentals bc i have all the lyrics memorized so i get distracted 😭😭i usually listen to gracie abrams or christian lofi:)
i prefer silence i tend to get distracted with music!! :)

yes!!sometimes i zone out of the music, but its nice to have it, especially when there is a scene in the book that just simply needs music with it.
I’ll already be listening to music so when I pull out a book, im not gonna stop listening. (On Spotify) I either search for a playlist for that book or I’ll just put on one of my playlists. The voice in my head reading needs to be louder than music tho, or it has to be louder by a lot. So I’ll either have the volume down really low, or super high
very rarely, I enjoy it when I do but it has to be instrumental or else I will get distracted and start just listening to the song instead of paying attention to the book. I very easily get distracted while reading anyway, so lyrical music just makes it worse.

it depends on the song because o can get distracted some times, but usually yeah I like playing music
i can't listen without music. I try to keep it at a low volume so I can still understand what I'm reading. Silence makes me distracted. it's funny how that works

Only sometimes if i'm having a hard time with the vibe of like a fantasy book or smth i'll look up the name on spotify and play it, it really helps
