Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

I've recently continued with anita Blake and yes they can be a mess.

I had a hard time getting into the first few chapters, but once the action started picking up, I was fully hooked. I liked the cast of characters and the different creatures and types of magic. I'm glad that Tybalt had some "screen time," because he is by far my favorite character. Toby's character was a lot more fleshed-out in this book, and I loved getting to know her and her abilities more. I was a little frustrated that it took her so long to figure out who the killer was, though.

Lucan is a prisoner who they keep in check by threatening those he cares about. Rio is a undercover agent who will do anything to stop the drug king in Caldwell. They are thrown together and somehow makes a relationship. The other story is Jose retiring as a police officer and can't keep Butch off his mind. Not up to the caliber of her other stories.

Harry Dresden is back and of course trouble follows him. I was bored with this book and it was a slog trying to finish. I don't know if I want to continue with this. I will try again with book 4 but no time soon.

Kylie is so desperate for a job and somewhere safe to live that she signs a contract without reading it and is stuck with Hunter for a year. Hunter is mad because he is being forced on house arrest and will make sure that Kylie is as miserable as him. He does everything possible to make her quit until he looks into her past. Now everything has changed and he is now angry at others and will make sure that she is safe.

My reading has been slow this week because I started a new job, but I have the next 3 days off and I should be able to get my May Day book finished, as well as either the Free Space or Cozy Mystery book. I'm not sure what I'll read yet for my cozy mystery book. I'll choose one after dinner. It's not a genre I usually read, so this will be interesting!
