annob [on hiatus] (annob) | 4048 comments If the merge is incomplete, there are user shelvings still attached to the invisible, queued edition. I strongly recommend sending any incomplete mergers to Support, as the incomplete state affect users' bookshelves sort and search capabilities.

If you can find the edit page of the duplicate (not the target), you can toggle the classification back to 'Public', and then to 'Delete' again to requeue it yourself.

David Raz (davidraz) | 12830 comments Thanks, I did not know that is possible (or required), and I will certainly do that myself next time. I already send support a few dozen requests a day, I would rather not bother them with things we can do ourselves.

annob [on hiatus] (annob) | 4048 comments Glad to have helped. Sometimes I have to look in my web browser history to find the edit page url, other times it's can be tweaked from the edition page url still visible in the changelog.
