Lynn Helton (slynnhelton) | 62 comments If you're looking for more places with opportunities to get reviews of your books, another group for getting reviews, that might be of interest, is Read / Write / Review Club.

Read / Write / Review Club is a group for discovering indie/SP books to enjoy, reviewing and getting reviews for your indie/SP books, and sharing the writing process with other like-minded authors.

There are currently reviewing opportunities available in the form of four read/review chains of various themes. Come check it out!

It's a very specific place to put in that date and make it private and the directions are on the group's home page in the group description (you do need to click "...more" to see the whole thing), recreated here:
...click "Account settings" in the drop-down menu from your small photo near the top of the page. On the new page, click "edit my user profile" near the top right. On the Account Settings page, on the Profile tab, scroll down and fill in the Date of Birth fields. If you wish to keep your date private, set the Age & Birthday Privacy: field to "Age & Birthday to no one". Then click Save Profile Settings at the bottom.

Why not just ask for the year and let it go at that. I don't see any reason to ask for a specific birth date, and you don't tell us why you need it.

The description for the group on the group's home page (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...) tells exactly why it's needed. And it's not me that requires it, it's a Goodreads policy for groups that include mature/18+ material.
