Hi, I'm Emily

I offer proofreading, copyediting, and beta reading services. I tend to work with fantasy, middle school, YA, and fiction but I am open to trying new genres. Recently, I have also taken on some memoirs - I am taking courses through EFA to become more proficient in this genre. My background is in the sciences (specifically Zoology but I do work in the medical field currently) and history (specifically Greek and Roman).

My rates are (in Canadian dollars):

$1 per 1000 words for beta read (min charge of $10)
0.007 per word for copyedit
0.005 per word for proofread

I offer a 1,000 word free sample edit for first time customers for copyedit or proofread.
