Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments What book about the Tudors or Tudor England would you like to have as our Group Read in May 2023?

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.

Two nominations to a person, please.

BAM doesn’t answer to her real name | 16 comments I’ll nominate Henry VIII in 100 objects by Paul Kendall.
I’ll go ahead and nominate the Tudors in 100 objects as well.

BAM doesn’t answer to her real name | 16 comments Yes I think it may be the start of a new series type deal. I think I have three? So it doesn’t matter to me really whether Henry or the Tudors is nominated. They are both really interesting with pics and such

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments Alright, I will close nominations and start a poll.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments The poll is now open. You should be able to find it at the top of the group's Polls page, the bottom of its Home page, or here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/2... .

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments Sorry about the delay, folks - computer died a few days ago.

Anyway, the winner for May is Ladies-in-Waiting: Women Who Served Anne Boleyn.

Natalie (creativecountry0407gmailcom) | 163 comments @Susanna: Although Ladies-in-Waiting Women Who Served at the Tudor Court by Victoria Sylvia Evans is on our shared Audible wish list, I might be sitting out this discussion.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments Yeah, it's not great availability for me, either.
