Can I read Just Caraval as Stanadlone?

it can be read as a standalone yes!! but the maximum joy is to read it as a whole series ^^

but they're boring and disappointing and predictable

You technically can, but the rest of the series is pretty good as well. And, after you finish reading the trilogy, you can read Once Upon a Broken Heart, which is set in the world of Caraval and is also an amazing series

I just need to say that I really liked caraval, specially the last two books. and after that I read once upon a broken heart, which I LOVED. that has become one of my favorite series!
