Flora has had a crush on Alec since she can remember. She always hoped he would be her mate and it is not until she goes into heat does she realize it. Alec though rejects her, causing Flora to leave the pack.

Alec knows he wronged Flora, but his mind is on the pack which is falling apart and he and a few others are waiting to find out if they will be the next Alpha. Flora though he is obsessed with but she has always been meek and let people walk over her so he treated her the same, that is until she comes into her own. Can Alec gain Flora's trust to take him as her mate?

I enjoyed this but think I would have benefited from reading the previous books. The packs are quite a bit different and the way they treated Flora was awful and I had a hard time understanding why.

This moved really fast. It's a spin-off , so I think if I had read some of the previous series I wouldn't have felt as lost. That said, the writing was better than I expected and the characters and world have me curious. Pretty enjoyable, I'll just backtrack to a prior series before coming back to this one.

Samantha's brother had it all until he fell for a carefully constructed trap and Samantha is determined to reveal the snake for who she is. With her actions she ruined her brothers marriage feeding him a bunch of lies and Samantha is ready for her to take the bait. The one thing she did not plan on was Jared, she had hoped to get him to agree to help her out since he was part of the snakes past but when she meets him for the first time in her life she is not fully with it, the man is stunning not like the nerd he is supposed to be.

Jared was intrigued by Samantha so he dug into who she was, which he didn't find much of. Meeting her she is beautiful and a bit crazy too. Jared decides the more he gets to know her the more she is the woman he is going to build a future with. First though he needs to help her take out the trash so his Samantha can reign in her crazy a bit.

This was a fun one. Jared is pure alpha material and Samantha is nuts. Reminded me a bit of Gabriel's Promise which is one my favorites from this author. Really fun holiday read.

Crashing into your new boss the first day you start you internship was not how Georgia Peach planned for. With her cupcakes in hand she finds her boss Sebastian Cartwright grumpier then she expected. She has a plan though and in order to achieve her dreams she needs the internship, she will put on a smile and work every day to the best of her ability.

Sebastian believes all women are out for one thing, snag a rich husband and fake it until you make it. Georgia with her bright smile though and innocence unnerves him. When he is faced with an ultimatum he decides he needs a wife for on month, Georgie is perfect for the role. Negotiations are tough and Georgia holds her own to become his temporary bride, but as they spend time with his family he find himself falling for her but can he trust that it is love?

I loved this, it was full of the holiday spirit and the chemistry between Sebastian and Georgia is sizzling. For Sebastian a man who excels in deals and corporate life, he is so guarded after being burned one time too many he is jaded. Georgia is the perfect woman for him, but she too is also safeguarding her feelings for him. Definitely would read more in this series.

Xo is a cupid, a pink cupid who wants to know what love is. She watches the pairings of people who find their happily ever after to only wish for her own. It is not something that happens to cupids though but this Christmas she finds out about Santa who makes wishes happen. With a plan in place and some letters to Santa, Xo ends up having Arson (Santa) show up to find his holiday spirit again. The two of them have a plan to help each other out but in doing so find they cant seem to let each other go.

This was delightful. Xo is a bit naïve in some ways and precocious in others. Arson is a grump at times but with Xo he is smitten. Really creative story.

Declan has the best assistant he could fine, she is snarky, stunning, and his secret crush. When Declan makes a comment to his mother that he has a girlfriend he is bringing home for Christmas, he devises a plan to get his assistant Maddie to play the role. Several drinks, some bad karaoke and a mind blowing night in bed has Declan and Maddie questioning everything about their faux relationship.

Great story, a lot of fun. Had a lot of moments you could easily visualize. Great banter between Maddie and Declan. Maddie has a niece who is a hoot. Perfect for the holiday season.
