The book was very old fashioned and very simplistic. It was an okay book but not my taste.

I devoured this in one sitting, same as the first book. This series is like crack. My only complaint is that it didn't feel long enough. The duet narration is wonderful. The love interests are unique. I need my library hold to come up on the last one ASAP.

I thought the pacing was great in this one and I kept thinking I had it solved but then something would happen to steer me in a different direction. Kept me on my toes.

I do not see where you getting the publication date of 1996? I am seeing an initial publication date of October 1, 2012 - listed on the top of the editions page and no dates earlier than that. The 2012 date works though since no other teammate used that decade.
Please correct your qualifier and also the page count (400). Thanks.

Review 5 starsStone had been a Nomad for years but when he sees Blake, he knows his days of traveling are over. He has every intention of making Blake his Ol Lady. He knows it is going to be a tough road ahead as s she is a single mom and her dead husband was the cruelest of men. When he finds out they are in danger though, Stone pushes his way into moving in and gaining Blakes trust. The Iron Dogz have been at war before and defeated the enemy, nothing will stop them from annihilating the new threat.
I am thrilled there is more to this series, which I was a bit worried about with the last book. Stone is exactly how I imagined his character. I really liked Blake, she is completely different from the other women in the series and her sons are the bomb. Another terrific story in this series.
