Holl (holl_) | 8 comments Okay I've been looking everywhere for this kind of book. But I want something that is chill and calm and healing, maybe the person is having a bad time in life (stuffs going wrong/bad mental health) and they don't feel at place in their life so they uproot and move or run away and start again in a new place (maybe small town) and its just about their journey with healing and becoming happy and evolving into this new person who can enjoy their days. (if you watch kdramas I want something like summer strike or when the weather is fine - or if you watch movies something like one million yen girl, or us and them, maybe something with an indie movie feel too it)

I've been searching forever the closest book I got to it is Whereabouts by jhumpa lahiri (which is similar in the tone and kind of aesthetic aspect) and I'm currently reading Tides by Sara Freeman, that has a slight similar vibe but I want it maybe a tad bit happier and healing compaired to that.

If you're down for scifi, honestly any of Becky Chamber's books are good
