I know books are all about words but I don't think I've ever read an author who uses so much dialogue. I found it quite difficult to keep up with and to be frank, was exhausted by the end of the book. I did quite like the story and at least this time the MCs weren't lost in forests for 100 pages at a time.

Ethan offers to be his BFF's +1 at said BFF's sisters wedding. Only trouble is Caleb is gay whilst Ethan is straight.
After arriving in Hawaii, Ethan offers to be Caleb's fake boyfriend for the duration of the wedding. And as you might expect, Ethan discovers that he is bi and starts a proper relationship with Caleb after they get home.
A quick read with little to no angst.

Johnnie Goodnight/Desrosiers is a bit of brat with a dollop of self-pity but I just love these mini mysteries and the overarching romance with MC Eros (and his other names which I wont' mention for spoiler reasons ;). And MC Johnnie is also generous, well-read, smart and incredible curious. The full mix is very appealing to me, and engages me fully ❤️

Pretty much what I thought the first time I read this 6 years ago.
Loved the opening. Some parts were really funny; other parts went on too long. The positive take away was how much friends were really family, and family loved deeply and unconditionally.

Let me start by saying that this was a beautiful cover!!!

I am trying to think of an emotion that I didn't feel while reading this story... nope, can't think of one.

The main characters were so "real" that my heart broke... more than once. I felt fleeting moments of joy and many instances of rage. But, being honest, I will have to say that I found myself not enjoying the story for the most part. I couldn't have asked for better MCs, I just could never read this again... my heart just wouldn't make it! 😭

I missed the word 'trans' in the blurb, but luckily these were 2 teenagers so they didn't do more than kiss.
Darren is half fae and Vlad, a newly turned vampire.
I loved how their friendship grew slowly. From their first meeting until the time they decide to be a couple. With Darren, maturing into puberty and Vlad learning how to be a vampire.
A nice sweet story.

He was just mean. And can we get the romance before the book is almost over? Disappointing in that regard. Not a bad book, just not great but with so much potential.

Heads up... if you don't have a box of tissues handy, you may want to grab them before you get to 37%... just sayin'! 😭😭😭

I definitely enjoyed this one more than I did the first one! Red and Laz both grabbed me by the heart and never let go! Their group of friends (brothers/family) is what everyone wants and very few find. It took me a bit to figure out the "who done it" and it almost slipped right past me, to be honest!

Looking forward to seeing how Lucky and Mason work through their issues and find their HEA... pretty sure it is going to be a wild ride!
